Pound euro exchange rate dips as post-Brexit nerves eclipse January’s UK retail sales hike



The pound euro exchange rate dipped -0.3 percent today, with the pairing currently trading around €1.191 in spite of a rebound in UK retail sales in January following a weak 2019. On a month-on-month basis consumer spending increased by 0.9 percent.
