The pound-euro exchange rate rose to €1.105 today, buoyed by opposition against a no-deal Brexit following a cross-party meeting led by Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn. Mr Corbyn has prioritised legislative methods to block a no-deal Brexit on October 31, with the aim of invoking a vote of no-confidence in the Conservative government.
