
The pound US dollar exchange rate is trading slightly lower this morning, leaving the pairing fluctuating around $1.247 after Prime Minister Boris Johnson vowed to leave the EU on 31 October, "no ifs, no buts". The GBP/USD exchange rate eased from yesterday’s best levels following Boris Johnson’s sacking of more than half of Theresa May’s cabinet, leaving his team almost entirely dominated by Brexiters.
