EUROPEAN markets opened to heavy losses this morning on growing concerns of an escalating trade war between the US and China and ongoing tensions between Italy and the EU. The FTSE 100 hit a new six-month low at the start of trading, with the Footsie sinking by -121.99 points, or 1.7 percent – levels last seen back in April. -»
